I have been practising Pilates for around 18 years and feel the benefits in my own body on a daily basis, helping correct bad habits developed over years of desk-based work. I initially trained as a dancer, and find much similarity with dance in the techniques and movement patterns of Pilates. I like the Body Control Pilates method as its controlled approach allows time to focus and attend to the details which make all the difference. The continued professional development offered by the organisation is invaluable. I am qualified to teach clients with Osteoporosis and include a focus on improving bone density in my classes.
I teach small group classes (max 12) in Whitstable and Herne and am also available to teach on a private basis either one-to-one, for clients who prefer this option, or for small groups of friends/colleagues.
